This is Aussie with all
her beautiful babies in their foster home. She is only a baby herself
being only about 7 months old (This doesn't effect her mothering
skills though as she is a very loving and nurturing mommy) There
are many others just like her in the same situation who desperately
need foster homes. She does most of the work! Adopt A Cat Foundation provides food, litter box, medical care,
etc. You provide the love, care and attention! You only need a spare
room for them to stay in. Foster cats should not mingle with household
cats. This is a precaution for the health and safety of all the cats.
Every year millions of
cats and kittens are killed in shelters, millions more die because
they are abandoned and are left to fend for themselves. Foster homes
provide a temporary place for a cat where they can learn the social
skills of living with a family. A kitten or cat usually
stays in foster care until they are ready to be adopted. The more foster homes we have the
more cats we can rescue.
Foster homes are a necessity for all rescue groups. So if you love
cats and have a spare room, please consider becoming a foster parent.
The rewards are great, it’s a lot of fun plus you do it at your
convenience.
